Astro's Dreamland Adventure

Astro's Dreamland Adventure is a 3D Platformer that takes place in a little astronaut's crazy dream. What makes this dream particularly strange is not that it is full of ducks, rockets, and origami animals, but because there are strange side-effects that Astro experiences throughout Dreamland. Could they be dangerous? Could they be fun? Join Astro in Dreamland now to find out!

This is my submission for the 2023 GCPL  Game Jam.  My interpretation of the theme "strange side effects" led me to figure out interesting ways to impact both the player and the gameplay. Each time the player collects a coin or defeats an enemy, there is a chance for a "strange side-effect" to happen. I focused on affecting the player's health, movement, and visibility in a few different ways.
